Our favorite oils for the beautiful month of March are Dill Herb and Evening Primrose.

Family: Umbelliferae


Extraction: Weed

Extraction Method: Steam Distillation
Country: Native to Europe, is naturalised to North America and the West Indies

Chemical Group: d-phellandrene, terpinene, limonene, carvone, dillapiole, isomyristicin, and myristicin

Actions: Antispasmodic, carminative, diuretic, stimulant, and stomachic

Uses: As a digestive support (colic, dyspepsia, flatulence and indigestion) and also aids sleeping

Blends well with: Coriander Seed, Bergamot, Caraway, Nutmeg and Citrus oils

Contra-indications: Generally considered non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitizing, but should be avoided during pregnancy

Blends well with: Blends well with Jojoba and Almond as a carrier oil base
